Residential parcel owners may not conduct commercial business from their parcel. These parcels may be used as residences only. They may be rented or leased for all or part of the year. They may also be used as a bed and breakfast where food and beverages are available for sale and consumption by guests of the bed and breakfast. Also note, parcel owners may build up to 20% of the gross parcel square footage on residential parcels, plus additional 10% for porches, decks, patios, holding tanks for water storage, storerooms or other structures
Commercial parcels may be used as residences as well as for commercial purposes. Some examples include: eco or dive resort, bed & breakfast, eco-tour operator, market, bar, restaurant, fishing charter, boat rental (kayak, canoe, sailboat, rowboat, etc.), glass bottom boat tours, t-shirt and novelty shop, contractor, tool rental, storage unit, etc... Also note, you may build up to 50% of the gross parcel square footage on commercial parcels, plus additional 10% for porches, decks, patios, holding tanks for water storage, storerooms or other structures. |
